Hello Again

Okay, I have been slacking lately. Sorry. We have been pretty busy lately. We went to a Christmas last weekend. This week we are getting all the presents ready for the school teachers and daycare teachers. The kids program is on Friday. They are doing a dress rehearsal on Thursday, which they are going to video tape, because they are afraid that some of the kids may be a flight risk when the parents are there. Tyler being one of those kids. They are also taking precautions because the weather is supposed to get bad again tomorrow afternoon and so some of the kids may not make it in on Friday. Some of the kids have a 90 minute drive to school. After Friday all the kids are out of school until January 6. This weekend we are having Santa come on Saturday or Sunday. That way he has one less stop on his busy night. Plus, none of the kids will be with us on Christmas Day. We then have another Christmas to go to on Saturday night and Two on Sunday. The next week is also very busy. Lots of driving. I think we spend most of our time in the vehicle rather than at others homes. We both took off on Christmas Eve so that we could make it to all of the Christmas'. Hopefully the weather will cooperate. Buster gets to spend his first Christmas in the Kennel. We can not do all of this traveling with him. He would not handle it very well. He went to the vet this past weekend and now weighs 40 pounds. He weighs almost as much as Tyler. He gained 10 pounds in 3 weeks. The vet said that was good but then again she doesn't have him jumping on her everyday. I hope that everyone is doing well. We also hope that everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

I'm Back

Well it was one busy week. We had two dinners to go to last weekend that had great food. On Tuesday the kids made a Thanksgiving Feast at school for all of the parents. It was really good also. On Wednesday, Tyler's daycare class made a meal for all of the parents also and it was also very good. The kids and I then went to Pontiac to head to another family gathering on Thursday. The kids had a blast at Aunt Jill's. Most of the time I didn't even see them because they were busy playing. Friday and Saturday brought very long days of shopping. We got pretty much all of our shopping done. We just have a few more to get. This morning we woke up to a winter wonderland. The ground and trees are covered in Snow. This is Buster's first snow and at first he didn't know what to do then he got in it and loved it. He ran around like the crazy dog that he is and kept putting his nose in it and sneezing. Hope everyone had a great week.

Sorry it has been so long

I am so sorry it has been so long. It seems that there are not enough hours in the day. We have all been fine. The kids are all doing good. They are learning Christmas songs for their programs which we got to hear on the way home tonight. We have another busy weekend coming up. Buster gets to go to the vet tomorrow. We will see how much he has grown this time. Today he got out of his crate while we were at work so we got to come home and clean. He is getting alot bigger. He now takes over the recliner and loves to help me do the laundry. He gets alot of exercise when I am doing the laundry because he takes off with a piece of clothing and then I have to chase him around and try to get it back from him. He is a pretty smart dog which kinda sucks for us. The kids and I are his personal chew toys which is just wonderful. We don't tend to spend much time downstairs now. One of these days I will get some pictures on here. I hope everyone has a great weekend and a Happy Thanksgiving. We will be pretty busy next week so I don't know if I will be writing next week. Sorry. We will be shopping all weekend next weekend. Talk to you all soon.

Another Week

Well another week has flown by. Last week was a lot of the normal day routine. Get up early, go to work (school), come home and feed Buster, feed the kids, do homework, read, baths, and bed. Now that it gets dark so early it seems that time is flying by at night. Before I know it it's time for the kids to take a bath and go to bed. The kids finally got to make up a wish list for christmas so I will get those out as soon as I sort through them. The kids are all doing pretty good. Angel has a bad cough that she is taking care of but other than that they were all good. We went to my mom and dad's this past weekend and spent the day on Saturday. We were go, go, go, all day. The kids had a blast. It was really nice to see them. It has been a while since we were able to get home. All of the kids fell asleep on the way home. Even Angel, who very seldomly falls asleep in the car. Sunday I took the kids shopping so that Angel could get a new pair of jeans. They also used their money from Halloween to pick out something of their choice. The girls both picked a stuff animal that has a secret code to go online. They are like the webkinz, but these are Littlest Pet Shop animals. Tyler picked a truck with a trailer and dume buggy (shocker there). I will hopefully be able to download pictures this week. Now I have to fight both of the kids for the computer. Taylor likes to play with her new animal on it and Tyler likes to play games. If I was able to stay awake after the kids went to sleep I would do it then, but since the pictures aren't on here yet you see how well that is working for me :>) Hope everyone has a great week.

I'm Back

I am so sorry that I am so far behind on this blog. We have had a very busy couple of weeks. The kids are doing very well just a little crazy. Last weekend we did not have any of the kids because Angel had a party at her other grandma's for Halloween were they do hay rack rides and other stuff. She said it was really cold but she had fun. Taylor and Tyler went to their dad's because Nana Donna from Texas came back and wanted to have the kids. On that Friday night we had our Family Fun night at the daycare. It was fun but it made for a very long day. The kids and I were there from 7am to 8pm. Jason got a little break to come home and feed Buster. Saturday night Jason and I went to a Halloween party. I am hoping to download some pictures soon so you can see his lovely costume. On Monday night I took the kids to our mall and went Trick er treating. It was very busy there. On Tuesday, Taylor had her last day at dance for her PE class. They had a little recital for the parents. It was so cute. Hopefully I can put the video on here even though it doesn't have sound. After they did their dance, they had the girls teach us moms some of the moves they learned. I now know why I was never in Ballet. Falling over is not a move in their books. On Halloween the daycare had a parade to the hospital. It is always so cute to see all of the kids dressed up along with the teachers. Jason dressed as a shark for the parade. I was a Ballerina. I didn't dance though. Our parade usually has somewhere around a hundred kids in it. Taylor and Tyler's school had a party day after the Parade. They went to their dads this weekend and Jason and I went to St. Louis for our first Anniversary. That's right we have made it a year. He, of course, surprised me and had me go park the van so that he could run up to the room and lay rose petals on the floor and he had two dozen roses sent to the hotel that he put in the room. Then he came to help me unload the van and when we got to the room I asked him if the Hotel knew it was our anniversary and that's when he told me about his sneakiness. He also got me a beautiful necklace and some Cardinal stuff. Taylor called us on Saturday to tell us she lost a tooth. I told her that I didn't even know one was lose and she told she was keeping it a secret. She had pulled out all by herself without anyone knowing it was lose. I was very proud of her. This puts her at 5 teeth that she has lost now.
Buster spent the weekend at aunt Tonya's and did pretty good. He seems absolutely exhausted now that he is home. I think we will send him there more often. They have 4 dogs and 2 cats to put him in his place. He hasn't tried to chew on anyone yet tonight. We will see how long that last. Well I better go know. The kids need a bath and bed. Hope everyone has a great week.

Hello

Well we made it through another week. Buster had his first doctor's visit and he only peed on their floor once while we were there. He got a shot and his nails trimmed. The doctor seemed very adamant about taking him to puppy classes for his chewing. He only tried to eat her a few times. Later that afternoon we went to town and Jason went to a Tailgate with his friends and I went and got Taylor and Tyler and we went to the Carle Tailgate. The kids had fun and got their faces painted. The had a lot of blow up things for the kids to play on. I took them back to their dad's at the start of the game and then went back and picked up four more kids that I was babysitting while their parents went to the game. I pretty much just had to take them home and put them to bed. The kids were all very tired. Today we tried to catch up on sleep. We will see how this week goes. We are having a little bit of a problem with Buster peeing and pooping in the house now. We take him outside and he will go out there but then come right in and do it inside also. We know his nose is working very well because when we take him outside he puts his head down and wants to follow whatever scent he can find. Hope everyone has a great week.

Hello Again

Our illnesses seem to be going away now. I had to take Tyler to the Doctor on Thursday because his ear started hurting really bad and then we had very gross drainage coming out by afternoon. He is now on an antibiotic and the pain seems to be gone. Friday we went grocery shopping so the kids could possibly eat weekend. On Saturday, I went to a wedding up by Chicago, with Jason's stepmom Debbie. The wedding and reception were absolutely beautiful. I had a lot of fun and she said she did too. We will see if she invites me to go with her to anymore events. Jason's dad couldn't go because he had to work so I went in his place. I think I had a lot more fun than he did. Isn't Harvest great=:0)
There is not a whole lot else going on here. Taylor is doing homework and Tyler is outside playing. I am ready for bed. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Hello

Well we started this week off with a sick family. On Monday, Jason stayed home with the flu. On Tuesday, Jason and Tyler stayed home because Tyler had a fever and wasn't feeling well and Jason wasn't completely better. And today, Wednesday, Taylor and I are home because we are both ill. We just have the fever and are completely wiped out (At least I am). Neither of the kids have eaten very well since Sunday night. Hopefully we are on the road to recovery.

I am adding some new pictures of Buster. He is getting bigger and heavier. He can now climb our stairs by himself. Oh Goodie. He is quite the little chewer too. He is doing a lot better about his crate. He hardly whines or howls at all in it. Hope you all enjoy the pictures and have a great week.

Another week has gone by

Buster made it through his first week at our house. He is already getting bigger. He is starting to sleep a little longer at night. At one point he slept for 5 hours straight. I was so happy. We took him to work with us on Friday morning. He had to play all morning long. The kids would not leave him alone. He got to meet Uncle Trevor and Aunt Nicole. They were in town because they went to the Carrie Underwood Concert on Thursday night. Buster then came home and slept all afternoon. He is getting better about his crate. He cries just for a little bit. He is becoming a lot more playful now which I am not sure if I enjoy that so much. He thinks our hands, legs, pants, shoes, or anything that moves is a toy and he attacks. Gotta love that at 2 in the morning.
This week Taylor and Tyler had Dentist appointments and they went well. They are all doing well in school. This weekend we watched the Illini win and the Cubbies Lose. Maybe next year for all of you Cubbie Fans. On Sunday, I walked in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk and I made it all the way through. It was only 3.1 miles but my body thought is was a lot longer after the walk. Thank you to all of you who donated for this special cause. I really appreciate it. I hope everyone had a great week. I will try to get more pictures of Buster on here so everyone can see how he is growing. Have a great Week.

His first day home alone

Well Buster made it through his first day home alone. From the looks of the crate he had a great time. The photos are from his first bath which he needed when we got home. His crate also got a bath and everything in it went to the bathtub then the washer. Hopefully this won't be a daily routine and if so hopefully it won't last long. He is a really good dog. His playtime seems to be getting longer tonight. Hopefully he will sleep longer tonight.

We made it through the first night

Well we made it through the first night. So far he is on a schedule of a thirty minute workout and potty and then nap. We were up probably 5-6 times last night and he went potty outside each time. We have had a few accidents inside but just pee. He has pooped outside everytime. We are really hoping he will do okay tomorrow while we are at work. He has a nice big crate to stay in that is plenty big for him now. We decided to go with a big one since he will need it here soon. Right now we think his howl is kinda cute hopefully by the time it is not so cute he won't do it as much. Jason calls him a mama's boy because he likes to follow me around. I told him it was probably not such a great idea to get a puppy that looks so sad all the time. I just want to give into him all the time. He is like my sad little baby. He has done great with the kids. He of course tries to chew on them sometimes but he likes to play with them. He really likes Tyler's trucks. We will continue to put pictures of him on here as he gets bigger. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Our New Addition

Hello Everyone,

Well so far we have had an interesting weekend. We Forgot to tell everyone we were expecting. We bought home a new little fellow today. He is absolutely adorable. We have some new photos of our new family member. His name is Buster. He is a Bloodhound. We decided to give in to the kids and get them a puppy for Christmas. Of course, we are a little early but they don't care. They were actually very excited that they no longer have to have one of them pretend to be a puppy while the other one walks them. Now they have a really puppy they can take on walks. Of course right now this puppy just wants to sleep. We will see how it sleeps through the night. I am a little worried that we are not sleeping tonight. I will let you know how our nights go. Here are some more pictures of the kids with their new puppy.

Another week has gone by

Well another week as flown by. Did anyone catch it?:) We had a very busy week at work. My room is now full and we have a lot of babies who are sick or teething which makes them a little fussy and our room very loud. This weekend the kids went to their dad's and Angel was with her mom. Taylor and Tyler's bites are looking much better and they slept in their room at their dad's all weekend and didn't get bit. I know that they bombed the upstairs and washed everything again and it seemed to have worked. We will keep our fingers crossed that those stinken bugs don't come back. This weekend Jason also played in a softball tournament. It was a Saturday and Sunday tournament in Sidell. I went to a wedding on Saturday and then had a friend take me to the games. They lost their first one but won the second game on Saturday so we had to go back on Sunday. When I was in Champaign it poured down rain (which we didn't realize was supposed to come), but in Sidell it didn't rain at all. Today was a different story. During Jason's second game it started to lighting and thunder in the distance. We got lucky and they lost that game so then they were done. Unfortunately, we started to cook out while the next game was playing and it poured and stormed. So we decided to pack everything up and get out of there. We picked the kids up a little early and game home and got dry clothes on. Now, here in Rantoul I don't think we are getting any rain. But we will see. This week, Taylor and Tyler have a field trip to Curtis Orchard on Monday. And on Tuesday Taylor has her dance class during P.E., which she loves. Wednesday they have no school. I unfortunately have Jury Duty this week. What Fun, Can't Wait. Other than that there is not much new here. Hope everyone has a great week.

Another Great Weekend

Hello Everyone,
Well we had another great weekend. Friday we rented movies and let each of the kids pick a movie. I got to watch Tyler's in my bed while the girls watched one of theirs. Tyler and I both fell asleep so he had to watch his again on Saturday. He rented one that was about rescue boats. On Saturday we went to Chuck E Cheese with one of Taylor's friends family. We were there for 3 hours which was a little to long for us adults. We now know why they sell beer there. We were all ready for one by the time we got our prizes. It was packed and not enough people working. We came home and played. Last night, for some reason, Rantoul had fireworks. Which we didn't know until we started hearing them. Jason took the kids in the van to get a closer look. We think the air show was this weekend or something. Today, we won't be doing much because it is raining, raining, of and did I mention raining. We already have a pond in our back yard. Can't wait to see what happens by the end of the day. It didn't rain hardly at all yesterday like they said it would but it sure is making up for it. I was going to add some pictures of our trip to Chuck E Cheese but my camera kept dying on me and I couldn't get any pictures. I actually remembered the camera but every time I took a picture it died and didn't keep the picture. I guess it didn't like the batteries I had in it. Hope everyone had a great weekend. Stay dry.

Our Doctor's Visit

We went to the doctor today to have the kids spots looked at. Taylor's were really starting to look questionable. Her new bites are infected. We still don't know for sure what actually is biting them though. Andy and Laura are still going to bomb the upstairs and try to take care of what ever it is that are eating these kids. Taylor is now on an antibiotic and she is also getting a cold so she is taking medicine for that. We seem to have our own little pharmacy going on. Hopefully it won't take long for the antibiotic to kick in a Taylor will look a lot better and feel a lot better. Right now she looks miserable.
Well we tried our applesauce and I think the kids like it. I had to do some convincing, telling them that they helped to make it so they should try it, and they seemed to like it. Hope everyone has a great night. Talk to you later.

Another weekend

Hello again,
Well we had a pretty good weekend. I babysat on Friday night for one of Taylor's teachers two kids. It was a lot of fun but I was ready to go to bed afterwards. The kids are 3 and 2 and full of energy. I felt really bad because the parents came home before I got them to bed. We were reading bedtime stories and relaxing but once mom and dad walked through the door the kids energy went right back up. On Saturday, Jason and I went tailgating for the Illini home opener. We had a lot of fun. Illinois did beat Eastern Illinois. I wasn't for sure who I was going to cheer for since I am an alumni for EIU but I wore my Illini shirt anyways. On Sunday, I took a lot of naps and watched the race while Jason watched football. I went to get the kids from their dads and then we ate supper. For some odd reason I chose to try to make homemade applesauce for the first time with a box of apples I got from Jason's mom. I had asked my Grandma how to do it and it didn't seem to hard. I must say we will from now on buy our applesauce at the store or beg Grandma and Grandpa for some of their homemade applesauce. The kids tasted it but didn't really like it because it was still warm. They like their applesauce cold. They better like it cold.
Well like I said, I went and got the kids from their dads and unfortunately the kids got bit up more. For those of you who haven't seen the kids recently, the last time the kids were at their dads they came home with a lot of bites on their bodies. While talking with Andy and Laura we thought that maybe they had chigger bites from rolling in the grass at their house. Well now we are not sure. On Friday night they said they played outside and were fine and then they slept in the camper. On Saturday they were fine until after their naps in their beds. So now we are thinking that they might have spider bites. Andy and Laura had washed the sheets and sprayed their beds but they think that there is still something up there. They are going to bug bomb the upstairs and hopefully this will work. I think I am going to take them to the doctor hopefully tomorrow to have some of the spots looked at. Some of Taylor's are pretty big and I am scared that they might be infected. We also just want to know what this is. I think Andy and Laura would really like to know so they know what to do with the upstairs. Right now we are all going through a lot of After Bite. I will keep you up to date on what is going on with that. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

The Best Pie

Well in my last blog I forgot to mention that my mom made us a homemade peach pie. Let me tell you, it is delicious. My sister-in-law, who is pregnant, ate almost a whole one by herself and I was shocked at first. Now I know why she did. I don't want to share this pie. I cut one piece for Angel and Taylor wants a piece but I got lucky because Jason doesn't like peaches. Oh Darn. There is not much new here. The kids chigger bites are starting to look much better and don't seem to be itching as much. Hope everyone has a great week.

A great Weekend

The kids had a great weekend. They were very busy at my Aunt Jane's. They did a lot of fun stuff. I met them in Pontiac on Sunday to go to the Parade. I was very happy to see that this time Tyler didn't have painted finger nails. They must have been to busy.
The kids really enjoyed the parade and of course got tons of candy. We then went back to my Grandma and Grandpa's and had a family get together. We ate to much and the kids played. We didn't leave there until after 8pm. The kids of course forgot how to sleep this morning and they were up at 6:15am. Tyler had a great time with Grandpa this morning. He got to help fix the car, ride on the motorcycle, and ride in the tractor. He just followed my dad around everywhere.
Tyler fell asleep on our way home this morning. Taylor and Angel were talking and signing all the way home. Oh lucky me. The tiredness finally hit Angel when we were almost to Monticello. Taylor on the other hand is still going at 6:20pm. We will be going to bed very early. And we wonder why she keeps telling her teachers she is tired.
Oh, and I forgot to tell everyone that I am really sorry. I had my camera all ready to go so that I could take more pictures at the parade and then I could post them, but instead my camera sat next to the computer all weekend. I am really sorry.
Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Another week has gone by

Well another week has gone by and we have survived. Jason turned 34 and Angel turned 10 years old. On Wednesday Jason and I went to a Cardinals game with our friends Tim and Robbie. We had a really good time. The Cardinals also won which made it that much better.
The kids are all still enjoying school which is very good. Angel told me about her PE class and she hurt her hip and knee. When she told me everything they had to do in PE class I can't believe she hasn't hurt more. They have to do push-ups and not the ice cream kind and they have to run 5 laps around the gym. I am really lucky I am not in PE anymore. I couldn't do it. She is going to be one tough little girl by the end of the year. She really enjoys it though.
The kids are at my Aunt Jane's this weekend. She met Jason last night to pick them up and tomorrow I am going to meet her to take them to the parade in Pontiac. So far they are having a blast. Last night they got to ride the horses and drive the golf cart. Angel said she was kind of a crazy driver but Tyler was a really crazy driver. Taylor said she did really good and could maybe get a golf cart drivers license. We will have to check into that. Today they were going to go and have a picnic lunch and play in the water. Tomorrow, Pontiac has a really big parade that we are going to and then having a family get together. On Monday we relax. Well I hope everyone has a great long weekend and we will catch up again soon.

Ending another weekend

We have made it through another weekend. Taylor and Tyler were at their dad's and Angel was with her mom. I went to a Bridal Shower for my cousin Kassandra, in Pontiac, on Saturday. It was a lot of fun. I then came back and took Jason to get some paperwork for fantasy football. Today we relaxed. I went and picked up the kids from their dad's and now they are eating supper. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Thursday, August 21, 2008

Hello

Well Taylor went to the dentist on Tuesday and she has her first cavity. On Wednesday, both kids got their ears checked and surprisingly they were both fine. I really thought we had some hearing issues, but I found out it is just my kids. Today Taylor was going to get her eyes checked but we had a little problem at the daycare so I had to cancel the appointment at the last minute. I rescheduled in September. The kids are doing good. Angel enjoyed her first couple of days of school. She already had homework last night. Hope everyone has a great night.

Hello Again

Well I am sorry to tell everyone but I think I have figured out how to put pictures on here. So I am writing again. I felt really bad about not having any pictures of Angel on here yet so I found our pictures from when we went to the Indianapolis Zoo. The kids really enjoyed petting the sharks. So I hope you enjoy these pictures. Have a great night.

We have made it through the weekend

Hello Everyone,

Well we have made it through the weekend. Friday night we babysat and now I know why I don't have 6 kids. I did a lot of counting that night. I just couldn't figure out how to keep all six with in my sight. Our place is also just not big enough for that many kids. At one point, when coming back from the park early because I was tired of counting to 6 every minute, I had made a comment to the youngest who is one that I just wasn't made for this. Working in Daycare all day and thing trying to keep track of six kids at night. The oldest boy heard me and he suggested that I should start working out. Very good advice but I just don't have the energy to do so. Maybe one day I will. Having 5 boys is very dirty. I am glad to see that my child is not the only one who likes to have grass and dirt showers. I felt very bad sending the boys home so dirty but I figured this isn't the first time they have seen them dirty. Anyone with boys understands.

Saturday we went to Staunton, IL for a wedding. The wedding was very pretty and we had a lot of fun. If this works I did take a couple of pictures of the kids enjoying their meals. These will show why we don't take them to really nice restaurants very often. They had a blast running around and dancing. I tried to teach them some line dances but we all know that I am not that good of a dancer my self. Taylor enjoyed the YMCA. On the way home Tyler fell asleep in about a half hour but Taylor waited until their movie was over and then told us she was going to sleep. I thought she would have fallen asleep an hour before she did. They were both up by 7 this morning. Sleep was not on their agenda this weekend. It certainly was on mine. Today we are doing homework and relaxing.

I got to talk to Angel today and she was shoe shopping for school. She goes back to school on Tuesday. She is not very excited because she will have more homework. She didn't come this weekend because she went to a Venessa Hodgeson? concert who is Gabriella in High School Musical. I don't know if I have her name right. She enjoyed the concert alot.

Well know I am going to try and put the pictures on here so everyone can see them. I have pictures of Taylor and Tyler at the Fair and eating at the wedding. With any luck this will work. I will try to find some of Angel that are recent and try to post them this week. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Friday, August 15, 2008

Hello

Hello,
I know I have already written tonight but I have one picture added to the blog now. I am so excited. Unfortunately I don't know exactely what I did so we will see if I can get more pictures on later. Hope you enjoy.

Hello

Hello,
There is not much going on here. Jason is doing much better. There is no longer an egg on his forhead. The kids are still enjoying school and hopefully that will continue until the end of the school year. Taylor decided she didn't need sleep yesterday so she woke up and 5:00am and wouldn't go back to sleep. She still didn't want to go to sleep last night. I sure did. She slept in this morning until 6am but Tyler got up around 5:30. Tonight we are babysitting for 4 little boys so our place will be a little busy. Hopefully the kids will crash tonight after we're done babysitting and maybe sleep until 7am tomorrow. We are going to a wedding on Saturday, that I think is in Staunton, IL, which isn't to far from St. Louis. And Jason wants to drive home tomorrow night rather than staying in the hotel. But he knows us and knows he will be on his own because the kids and I will probably be asleep before we hit the interstate. Other than that we don't have much going on. Next week Taylor gets teeth cleaned, ears checked, and eyes checked. Tyler just has to have his ears checked. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Tuesday, August 12, 2008

Hello

Hello Everyone,
Well unfortunately we are back in the van. The convertable was so much fun. The kids loved it. There hadn't been much going on so Jason decided to make our lives exciting again last night. He had a softball game and he plays 3rd base. A ball had been hit to the outfield and the outfielder was throwing the ball into Jason to throw the runner out but Jason was blinded by the light and the ball hit him above his right eye. He bled a little and had an instant goose egg. He came out of the game and only batted after that. We were trying to decide if we should go to the ER or not and we decided he was some what okay. He still has a horrible headache but the dizziness is gone. He seems to be doing much better. Tyler was very worried about him.
The Taylor and Tyler are doing very well in school. They were both very tired today and fell asleep on our way home. I think we will go to bed early tonight. Hope everyone has a great night.

Tyler's 1st day of School

Today was Tyler's first day of school at CAOS. He was very excited about it. He looked so cute with his backpack on (which is about as big as him). They said he did very good and Taylor took very good care of him. She was very excited to see him there. He made sure to let the teachers know that he knew he would not take a nap there but he normally does at daycare. He goes to CAOS 3 days a week right now and he may add more days depending on their numbers. Hopefully he will do just fine without naps on those days. He doesn't always take a nap at home and he seems to do fine. We will just have to see. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Taylor's 1st day of school

Taylor had her first day of 1st Grade. She had a lot of fun and when she came to see me she said I have a lot of homework. The good thing is that her lot of homework really isn't that much. We just have to read and also do a little experiment of measuring her when she wakes up and before she goes to sleep. If this experiment works right she should be a little taller in the morning than before she goes to bed. It is amazing what you learn in 1st grade.
Taylor also has more big news. She finally lost her other front tooth. For those of you who have seen her these teeth needed to come out. I am sure we would all agree. She was looking alot like a beaver. She finally let Jason wiggle the second tooth and then she pulled it out. Hopefully the tooth fairy will remember to put something under her pillow tonight. I will have to have a talk with her.
This week has been pretty busy so far trying to schedule different doctors appointments. So far in the next two weeks the kids will have a recheck on the ear tubes, Taylor goes to the dentist for a cleaning, and she has to see an eye doctor for her school vision exam. Tyler goes to the dentist for his cleaning in September. So unfortunately we will get to see a lot of different doctors in a short time.
Today, we also switched cars with Jason's dad and stepmom. They are going away for the weekend and needed a bigger vehicle so they have our mini-van and we have their convertible. I think it is a great trade. The kids love having the top down when we are in town but it gets a little windy in the back when we are driving on the highway. We will have to see if we are around on Sunday when they want to trade back. We might just have to get lost.
Well I should probably go now. We are all going to Jason's games tonight so we need to start our reading and eat some supper. Hope everyone has great night.

We're getting back to normal

Well, I think we are getting back to normal somewhat. We went and did all of our school shopping this weekend and now we are broke. On Saturday, we went to the pool. I was amazed at Taylor. She is swimming under water. She is so comfortable in the water now. She was even doing handstands under water. Angel and Tyler had a lot of fun also. Tyler was more interested in the play area and jumping in the water. Angel liked the little slide and would swim around with Taylor. They were all very tired that night. We have only two days until school and homework.

Taylor is Home

Well Taylor is home. She hasn't stopped talking since she got home. She has so much to tell us. She also lost a tooth today when she got home so she is very excited about that. We just have one more to try and get out.
Taylors flight went well but she was very sad to leave Texas. She really wanted to stay. She loved everything she did. Nana Donna's fiance Jim had a little Yorkie that Taylor loved. She wrapped it up in blankets and carried it around like a baby, she put him in her bookbag, and she even made him play school and made him listen to her. Nana Donna says that the poor dog misses her but I think she is just being nice. Nana Donna already misses Taylor.
Well we have all three kids back and let me tell you it is a lot louder around here. We went to Wal-Mart to start some school shopping but we could only get Angels stuff because I didn't have Taylor and Tylers lists. So we get to go to Wal-Mart again tomorrow. I think Taylor and Angel thought there were microphones in their hands the whole time because all they did was sing and then when they forgot the words they made up their own. I am not holding my breath wanting on the record deals. They then thought it would be fun on the way home to pretend to be talking on cellphones, which happened to be Taylor's shoes, but they had to get off the phones because they were getting ready to board a plane in the back of the van. Our kids have great imaginations, which I will never complain about. They definitely keep things interesting. Hope everyone has a great night.

Well I have talked to Taylor, okay I listened to Taylor (I tell you that girl can talk), and she is having a blast. They went to the aquarium yesterday and today she was swimming. Donna's ears are starting to hurt a little I think. Taylor hasn't really stopped talking since she got there. She also really likes to prolong bedtime with many many stories that need to be told right now. She also wants to know why about everything. Tomorrow she flies back home. Angel is also coming. It is going to be kind of weird having all 3 kids back when we have only had one. Unfortunatly it is going to be hotter than the dickins outside so all I know we are doing so far this weekend is going to Wal-Mart and going school shopping. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

There's not much new here. Taylor called today and she is having a blast. She was going purse shopping because as Nana Donna says a woman can never have to many purses. She is going to the aquarium tomorrow. Tyler is doing great. He got a new boat from Walmart and can't wait to take a bath tonight. So he has to take a bath before the storms hit tonight and then to bed so he doesn't know it is going to storm. That is my plan anyway. Hope everyone has a great night.

Taylor is in Texas

Taylor has landed safely in Texas. She has called me twice today. Once just to tell me Good Morning while they were still in St. Louis and then again when they were in Texas. She was very excited and said she took some pictures. She said that the airlines said it was a 1000 degrees in Dallas. Actually it is a hot 100 something. She even got to see where the pilots sit and they gave her a certificate and airplane wings for her first flight. She also got to see the top of the clouds. She is so happy. I will let you all know how she is doing as the week goes on. Tyler saw a small plane on our way home and said Taylor was in it. We had to explain to him that Taylor was in Texas now. He is doing well and is on the go. Hope all is well with everyone.

We are Trying something new.

Hello Everyone,
My friends keep sending me all of these blogs and I thought that this would be a very good way to keep in touch with everyone and let them know how our family is doing.
Tonight we sent Taylor to Texas to visit with her Grandma Donna. She is spending the night in a hotel in St. Louis tonight with Grandma and Aunt Megan. Tomorrow morning she is leaving on an airplane with Grandma to go to Texas. She comes back on Friday, Aug. 1. Tyler is doing great. He is growing like a weed. And Angel is having a great summer also. Taylor and Tyler go back to School on Aug. 6th. and Angel will go back toward the end of August. Tyler is excited because he gets to go to all of Jason's softball games this week. Jason plays softball on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights and Tyler loves to go and play at the ball fields. He doesn't really watch much of the games.
We are having a very good summer. We can't wait to see all of the family.
