Well sorry once again. It has been two months since I posted. We have been really busy. The kids were both in soccer and really enjoyed it. I was one of Taylor's coaches which was really interesting. Soccer is over now and they miss it. Wednesday nights Taylor has a PSR class which is like CCD. The kids really love school and are all doing great. They also love our new house, which so do we.
As probably all of you know, we lost my dad on Sept. 26th. It has been really hard but we are all getting through this. It sucks being so far from my family at this time, but I know they all have people right there to be with them. My brothers are doing the farming right now and are doing a great job. Dad, I am sure, is very proud of them. We all miss Dad a lot but also now he is with us. WE LOVE YOU DAD!!!
This past week I learned that I have a new job. I accepted a position at Champaign Head Start. I start my new job on Nov. 2nd. I will be one of the head teachers in the Infant Toddler room. There are 2 head teachers and 1 assistant teacher. The kids range from 6 weeks to 3 years old. There are 8 kids in the class. I think that this adventure will be good for us. It also helps that there is a pay raise too.
For the last three days I have been at home with a sick little boy. Possible H1N1. Hoping this will end soon. He seems to be getting better. He does great during the day but last night his temp spiked back up. He is eating and drinking and wanting to play. I hope he feels better real soon.
Hope everyone is doing well. Talk to you later.

Kids first day of school
Well it was the kids first day of school today. They got up at 6:15 and were raring to go. We watched were the bus will pick them up starting on Monday. I had to take them to school today for my own sanity. Monday I may have to follow the bus to make sure they make it there okay. This has been really hard for me. I feel the same way I did when I dropped them off at daycare their first day when they were 6 weeks old. Only this time I am not just walking down the hallway to go to work. Instead, I will be 30 minutes away.
Well the kids are back home from their first day of school and they loved it. Some of Taylor's first words were "and I didn't even get in trouble". So they both made it through their first day with out any troubles. I have a lot of reading to do now. They both came home with info for their classes. They are looking forward to going to school on Monday and riding the bus.

I'm Back
That is right, I am back. Well the kids went to St. Louis this past weekend with Grandma Debbie and Grandpa Wayne. They had a blast. They went to the Zoo and Grant's Farm on Friday and then to Six Flags on Saturday. They had so much to tell us when they got home. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa.
Well so far, in the month we have lived in the new house we have had a handful of storms. So far these storms suck. We lost part of a tree in the back from lighting. Yesterday, we had a tree limb from a tree in the front, land on the van. We have dents above the windshield and a cracked windshield. Jason got one estimate so far and it is just over $2,000. I don't look forward to storms at all. We have another one coming in tonight. Wish we had bubbles big enough to cover our house and cars.
Well I forgot to mention how great Tyler has been at the new house. He has spent a lot of time here with just us because Taylor has been at her dad's so that she can sleep in on most mornings. Tyler goes to daycare with us and has to still get up early. At night though he has been begging to vacuum, wash dishes, and mow the yard. I am so proud of him. We will see if this continues once school starts and both kids are home full time. I predict that there may be arguing over doing the dishes or the vacuuming. Which is great that they both want to help. Hopefully, I will be able to convince them to each do one chore and then they can switch the next time.
We got some more painting done this past weekend and some tile laid in the laundry room. Have I mentioned I love our new house. We have so much room. Hope all is well with everyone. I hope I didn't shock you to much Grandma. I realize it has been a long time since I blogged twice in one week. Well try to get pictures on here soon. Tyler just fell asleep and he still needs a bath before the next storm comes.

Well It has been a while
I am so sorry. It has been over two months since I have posted. We have been very busy. As most of you know we have bought our first house. The process was something I hope we don't have to do again in a very, very long time. We love our new house. We have so much more room. It is great. Buster is outside now and loving it.
Our new address is: 401 N. Henson Rd. Villa Grove, IL 61956
We have ripped out carpet in our living room and the hallway so far. We now have really nice hardwood floors. We have also painted the living room and we are going to do the kitchen. The rest of the house will be painted very soon. My awesome father-in-law put in new pipes for the kitchen so now I don't have to drain the kitchen sink into buckets. We had a little rust back up in the original pipes. We plan on redoing our bathroom soon and making our family/extra room into a very cool St. Louis Cardinals room. I can't wait until we are all done.
The kids are very excited about starting the new schools. Angel will be going to Mahomet schools this year. She is very excited. Taylor and Tyler will be going to Villa Grove Schools. Tyler and I went to a Kindergarten Mixer this past Wednesday night to meet the teachers and some of the other classmates. They start school on Friday Aug. 21st. Taylor and Tyler are going to play soccer and they start practices next week. Taylor is also going to join Girl Scouts and I am looking into Boy Scouts for Tyler. We are joining the Catholic Church here in Villa Grove and Taylor will start classes there on Wednesday nights starting in the middle of Sept. My hours will be changing at work so that I can now take the kids to the bus and then get to work. So needless to say we are going to be very very busy. I am also signing up to help at some of the PTO events. and helping coach or work concessions at soccer games. I have a feeling that things are not going to slow down any time soon.
Angel and Jason have their Birthdays on Aug. 27 so we are trying to decide exactly what we are going to do to celebrate.
The kids are with their grandma and grandpa (Wayne and Debbie) this weekend in St. Louis. They took them to Grant's Farm and the Zoo. On Saturday they are going to Six Flags. I bet they are having a lot of fun. Well that is about it for now. Hope all is well with everyone.

Sorry once again
I am so sorry. It has been a long time since I have written. We have been very busy lately. We are searching for a house to buy which has been quite the process. We have seen some very interesting homes. The pictures we are seeing online are not quite showing us what we think we are walking into. We are trying to do as much homework on the houses as possible but are always surprised when we walk into them. We just keep praying that we will walk into that one house that says welcome home. So far, not so much. Most say get a contractor and I will keep you very busy for a long time.
Taylor and Tyler are still in school. They graduate on June 26th. Tyler has his graduation from the daycare on June 12th. Angel is out of school and enjoying her summer vacation.
I am sorry to say but there is not much else going on. Jason plays softball on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights and we try to go to the early games as often as possible. We are looking at houses whenever we can which takes up most of the night. Hope everyone is doing well. Talk to you later.
